In January 2023, I wrote a letter in support of Waseca County being granted money to connect rural residences to a high-speed internet line. This included the work the school does for connectivity and the story of a resident student who struggles to maintain a consistent connection for school work.

JWP had historically not followed its policy on facility use. In the September meeting, the board's policy committee reviewed the facility use policy. I was the only visitor present at this meeting.

A JWP High School Social Studies teacher was given a stack of old school yearbooks and newsletters. I worked with the teacher to help build and market an archive for the communities to view and enjoy.
